I create representations of the world from the eyes of an irreverent and childish spirit which speaks to the theme of delicate violence and suppressed feminine rage.  I do not directly represent girlhood anger, but allude it.
I use a vivid, candy-like palette in most of my works to evoke themes of fun and play, and  juxtapose those with violent or tragic subject matter.
